Terms & Conditions

We ask that you read through this page before booking your appointment. By booking your appointment you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require 24 hours notice to enable us to offer this appointment to a client who is wanting an appointment.

  • Failure to give at least 24 hours notice will result in 50% of your treatment charge being added to your next appointment or deducted from your card.

  • Failure to arrive at your appointment will result in a 'no show'. For no shows 100% of your treatment charge will be deducted from your card.

  • Repeat no shows or late cancellation will result in a non refundable booking fee requirement before you can book your appointment or total refusal of an appointment in which case you will only be allowed a 'walk in' appointment.

  • Management have the right to refuse appointments.

Punctuality and Courtesy

Arriving late may intefere with your treatment, all appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and a full charge will be applied. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.

Any clients arriving late for their treatment will result in your appointment time being limited this may mean that you do not receive your full treatment but 100% charge will still apply,  Arriving more than 15 minutes late will require you to reschedule your appointment and 100% of your treatment cost will apply for your missed appointment.

We offer text reminders 2 days and email reminders 24 hours prior to your appointment so where possible please give a mobile number or email address.

Our Right to Cancel.

If a therapist is not available to carry out your treatments through circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative therapist. In unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking.   In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone – where possible.

Online Booking

We are able to offer 24/7 online booking which requires you to enter your card details, certain treatments cannot be booked online and you will need to call the salon 01202737470 in certain cases where there are no available appointments online we may be able to accommodate you so please call the salon.

Some treatments require a non refundable booking fee.

Patch Tests

Some treatments require a patch test 24-48 hours prior to your treatment, it is your responsibility to come to the salon during our opening hours to have this carried out. Treatments that require patch tests are lash and brow tinting, ultimate brows, lash nv, microdermabrasion- please see our booking page for more details.

Failure to do so will result in your appointment being cancelled and a 100% charge.

Payment

We accept cash, credit or debit card and Beautique gift vouchers. We are unable to accept card payments for under £5

Some treatments require a non refundable booking fee. Please see our cancellation policy for missed appointments and late cancellations.

Hair extension consultations have a £10 booking fee - this will be deducted from your total bill should you go ahead with the treatment. When booking hair extensions a £100 non refundable booking fee must be paid before you are able to book your fitting appointment. This will be deducted from your total bill.

Courses

 All courses must be paid in full at time of booking and completed within 6 months and are non-refundable. Missed appointments may result in treatments deducted from your course.

Refunds

By paying for your treatment you are accepting that you are happy with the service provided. If for any reason you are unhappy with the treatment please let the therapist know during your treatment and before payment so this can be rectified before you leave the salon.

We have a strict NO REFUND policy so if you are unhappy please contact the salon during opening hours to rectify any issues you may have. 

On the rare occasion you have an issue with your treatment Beautique will rectify within 14 days. If you are unable to get to the salon in this time Beautique will not be held responsible and NO refund will be issued. This is an adequate time scale.

Refunds on Retail Products

Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as they were originally purchased from Beautique. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was purchased from us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Vouchers

Beautique gift vouchers can be purchased in store or over the phone, full payment will be required at time of purchase. Expiry date will be printed on your gift voucher - under no circumstances can this be redeemed after this date - usually 3 months after purchase. Cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given.

  • To be used within 3 months. we cannot extend the validation date and thereafter the voucher is void.

  • Are non-redeemable for cash.

  • Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.

  • Must be produced on arrival at the salon as proof of purchase.

General Information

We ask that you do not bring anyone along to your appointment. We are a small salon and during busy periods we do not have the seating area to accommodate people that are not having treatments.

Our treatment rooms do not have the facilities to accommodate extra seating. Under no circumstances are children allowed into our treatment rooms. 

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied/supervised by an appropriate adult. Children are unable to accompany adults in the treatment rooms. Due to the nature of the salon and other clients we would please ask you to refrain from bringing babies and toddlers into the salon.

We kindly ask you to refrain from eating and/or drinking on the premises.

The management reserves the right to refuse entrance to anyone whom they deem unsuitable.

​

Please do not drink alcohol before your treatment.

​

Pregnant women are unable to have any treatments which require a patch test.

​

Certain medical conditions may be contra-indication to a range of treatments. If you have an existing medical condition, please do not book online, before speaking directly to the salon, to determine if you can indeed book the treatment. Failure to confirm that the treatment required can be carried out with an existing medical condition may result in your appointment being cancelled and 50% of your treatment being charged.

Any damage or breakages caused to salon equipment will need to be paid for.

Our prices are subject to change without notice
We reserve the right to change the nature of any treatments, courses or packages

Opening times can be changed at any time without notice.

Guarantees

Due to the nature of our business we are unable to guarantee any treatments carried out.

​

Bank Holidays

As we are closed Bank Holidays.

​

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.

​

Social Media

We like to participate in social media as we believe this is paramount to our business, we cannot respond to messages online, nor can we take bookings from any of our social media accounts.  Please do not be offended if our staff do not accept your friend request - we do not allow personal boundaries to over step our professionalism. 

We like to keep you updated with news and photos but if you wish to book or speak with us we are a little old school - give us a call or pop in.
